Hello Friends!
I'm a flutist, teacher of flute, and freelance musician in Northeast Ohio and teach flute, baroque flute and recorder to talented learners of all ages and musical levels at my private studio in Wooster, Ohio.
I earned my Master of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and my Bachelor of Arts degree in History (summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa) from SUNY/University at Buffalo. I spent an additional three extraordinary years pursuing advanced music performance studies at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria. (And yes, I do speak German!)
As a freelance musician I've taught and performed in many different venues throughout the United States, Europe, and North Africa. I'm always thrilled to find opportunities to unite my background in history with my passion for classical music — however I can also truthfully say that I enjoy ALL styles of music including folk and jazz.
